Getting back to the title of this post: I LOVE LifeDrive, great screen, great battery for my needs, 4 gigas, wifi+bluetooth.. it is true that it needs an urgent improvement but if I had to rate it I would give it a 9/10

Stutorker,
Glad to hear the links have been of some help - that was the hope and I'm am encouraged by your feedback , many thanks.

'On topic' again I'm also impressed to see the continually growing numbers of people adding to this thread who like their Life Drives - it makes me so tempted to use that credit card

(....but on balance I'll keep waiting like I usually do until most app's have got updated , Palm post an update ....and the price comes down...... )

I like my lifedrive. If a T6 comes out with an equal screen and Wifi, I might switch to that after considering the tradeoffs of the "pocketable" size factor vs. the 4GB storage. But functionally, its the best palm I have owned... but I have been cautious as to what I install on it. I go one app at a time, ensure stability, then move on. I doesn't bother me that some apps are unusable right now- thats the name of the game with so many independent developers and they will get fixed. What does bother me is the hints that Palm keeps the developers in the dark-- they need to help them more.

I've kind turned myself into a confused dude. My computer is a tablet PC -- which has all kinds of neat functionality by itself. With the LifeDrive - I now have more memory and a killer screen - so I keep going back and forth between one and the other.

I am very impressed with the LD so far - gotta go slow with new software -- and -- Palm owes all of us a ram update to fix some of those known problems out there.

Big time fan of my LD. It's the first pda that I've ever owned and it works like a dream.
