I'm fiddling around with Kinoma 3 EX at the moment and I'm having difficulty achieving the right balance of screen size, fps, bit rate etc. I'm also concerned that I have a rogue program stealing CPU cycles as I'm sure it worked better in the past.

Could anyone recommend settings for Kinoma Producer 3 EX for both .mp4 and .pdb which you know gives smooth high quality full screen playback.

P.S. Please don't suggest using mencoder, ffmpeg or Core Player - they're not part of the solution right now.
