| Where can one get the Y-screwdriver needed to open TH55? Where can one get the Y-screwdriver needed to open the TH55? I've never seen Y-headed screws before. Thanks!

| I got one from Lik Sang as recommended by one of the member here, but then I remembered that it was a little bit too big for TH55 screws. So I would recommend to get it from elsewhere. Or you can spend a little more to get the right one plus the colorful flipcover from Global Source.

| "Y" screwdriver Robert,
You can buy a "Y" screwdriver from Brando on their web site. I remember the price being 11 + 3 S&H. I ordered one and it arrived in about 7 days. Brando was very good about service. In any case, the screwdriver fit perfectly and solved the problem I had with my TH55 case being loose.
By the way, the true name of this type of screwdriver is TRIWING.
Regards,
Anthony |

| Y screwdriver
Anyone know if this fits the TH55? Don't want to pay $13 + for such a simple tool. Seller rating seems to be pretty decent |

| This Y screwdrivers come in different sizes. I have 2 of them now. The one from Lik Sang for GameBoy, although it is cheaper, it is definitely the wrong size (larger). Got bad advice from one of 1src member. You don't want to repeat my mistake.
It will be good to know if the Sanyo or Kyocera phones use the same screws as TH55. The price is certainly great.

| I think you can ask Sony and they will give you free as long as the unit is under warranty. If it is out of warranty you may have to pay for it.
I posted a thread about loose screw here. You may send a PM to rldunn, Cyker or whoever lost screws in that thread. They may know the answers.
There are 2 kinds of screws on the case. The phillip's head (+) screws are more common. I use one of my old N760C screw for the one below the IR beam. It fits perfectly. The tri head one is less common. I am glad I haven't lost that screws.
