| Rechargable batteries? Alright.
So I've been using my dad's old olympus rechargable batteries on my Canon A80 for the past few months, but now he wants them back because he wants them for my mom's new camera, some sort of Sony cybershot. Anyways, I now want to buy a set of rechargable batteries. I would need 4 AA batteries for my A80, does anyone have any suggestions/reccomendations for me to look for? Also, are there any good websites for buying this sort of thing? I will probably order online and all. Thanks in advance. |

| I have been using Rayovac NiMH (nickel metal hydride batteries) with a Rayovac recharger for my Visor Platinum, wireless mouse, Sony camera, and laser level among other things for about 3 years, and have been very satisfied.
The charger takes overnight to insure a full charge, so I have multiple sets of batteries.
BTW, my Sony Cybershot came with rechargable NiMH's and a recharger.

| As long as you get some rechargable AAs that are 1800mAh or better then you'll do fine
The difference in quality between the expensive and cheap rechargables is not big enough to justify paying a significant extra amount for the 'high quality' ones IMHO. |

| the fifteen minute charge leaves the batteries VERY hot, you will need to let them cool another 5 minutes before using them or you will use your charge faster (your batteries function best at room temperature, too cold or too hot and they do not provide as much energy over time).
I use the duracell 1 hour charge for most of my stuff. It is similar, though it is hottest at mid charge, then starts lowering the charge as they get near full. This leaves them warm to the touch, but not hot. I used the energizer one once, even have a pair somewhere around here I don't use often. Handy to charge in 15minutes, but let them cool another 5 to 10.

| Today I bought the energizer recharagbles. They aren't the ones he has listed above, but they are wall charged and charge in 2 hours. They were cheaper than the 15 minute charger ones; I can wait. |

| how many milliwatt hours? One reason I bought the 1 hour one was because they were 2100.
