#3 | | Guest | having said that, it is not easily viewable under direct sunlight, like most pda screens. i've had better success with the new vga screens 4700 on ppc though. | |

| Well with m505, Tungsten T
A bit with Tungtsne T3
Not at all with IIIc
Dependant on screen technology. DSTN/STN cant be viewed at all, same valid for TFT. Reflective can be viewed well outdoors, but is a little weak indoors. Transflective is superb indoors, but a little weak outdoors...
See some Tungsten T vs Tungsten T2 comparision photos to get my point... |

| Thanks zire for pointing this out....
Every Palm basically has some weaknesses, but the Zire 31 DSTN display definitely does not perform too well IMHO.... . Do you like it indoors, and is it fast enough? I can still remember my old DSTN Notebook, fast graphics were a pain for the eyes as the screen was ghosting like mad! |

About my gadgets, I'm now just using my psp, camera and cellphone. Maybe I will someday get a new pda, but it must to have phone cababilities so I don't need to use my regular cellphone anymore. And yeah, this means I won't be hanging in here 1src that much anymore. If someone want me to remove unfinished threads from 1src or something just pm me. Keep your gadgets running! |
