Hello Everyone, Just swicthed from a T3 to a Zodiac2 and I'm having problems with the hotsync. Everything seems to work fine I just have to reset after every hotsync, Also the hotsync takes about 10mins to complete, at the end of my hotsync log it says:
Probably some file on the PC that only the T3 can use. Go into the Backup directory to see if there is a file that looks like it doesn't belong. If that doesn't work:
1) Hard Reset. Check if ok.
2) Move all files from the Backup directory on the PC to another directory, e.g. Backup2
3) HotSync. Your Datebook and AddressBook data will be back. Check if ok. If not, use dbScan to clean up: http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/dbscan.shtml Check if ok.
4) Move a few files from Backup2 to Backup, then HotSync. Check if ok.
5) Repeat (4) until problems re-appear. Then you will know approx. which files are not compatible with your Zodiac. Delete them from the unit. Your problems should be gone forever.
Thanks, I ended up removing a bunch of files and could not believe all the stuff I had in the back up folder. I had clie stuff from my TG50 which was 2pda's before.
