And by the way German products aren´t as good as many people says

I heard that comment about german products not are as good as people say they are. He is german too........So its kind weird to here this again

ClieKun, you should know that we Germans are not as productive like you Japans. You have only got one week for vacantion. We have 3 Weeks. But there is a difference between the "western" and the "eastern" Germany (look at the history of Germnay after the 2nd World War, than you will see what I mean with easern and western). The eastern works harder for less money than the western. And the Easern are more productive than the Western ons

To the OP - Don't be prejudice!!

The quality depends on the product you are buying.

no not always. since outsource is the big thing these days finished products don`t always equal quality.

MAd always seems to have a god point when it comes to this subject.

Actually I don't know what's the problem with products Made in China, I worked a year with Legend QDI, and their quality control is really good. I used to work with their QDI Motherboard section.
Maybe china changed in the last 5 years???
I came here with the same idea Japan - Good quality, China - poor.
But after a few years around here I can say that is not all true. For example IBM Thinkpad's are made here and if you ask almost everybody in the IT business is gonna tell you that their quality is superb. The main thing is if you pay enough you're gonna get really good products made in china, but even if you pay that much is still cheaper than do it at home. Remember you need to setup a factory contract the workers, every time you have a new product probably you're gonna need to change part of the machinery. It's easier to do it outside cause if this company can't make the product for you there is probably another one that can. You don't need to spend that much.

And BTW, remember almost all the big companies have factories in china. If that's so, the quality control shouldn't be that bad no?
