I have a Nokia BH-214 which I used with Audio Gateway, and hoped when removing the headphones, it would still allow the remote control function to work but to output sound through the TX. Unfortunately it didn't stop the send function to the bluetooth device, or the device didn't stop it. That would be awesome if you could figure something out that way, but this is an interesting job in itself! Nice to see you still fooling around with this thing.

I got it to work after loading BT driver with the correct profile for it. Its not playing very well maybe based on Netbook atom cpu? Music sounds sped up or skips alot.

Palm T|X connected to speaker and HP Mini 5102 with updated BT drivers.

I was just playing around with this anyway. I decided to go the dedicated route. Just got a Jawbone Jambox. It sounds pretty good for such a small device but its not cheap. Another reason I really wanted to use this from Pre or Touchpad, so the Jambox works with it and its so portable.

was netbook on wifi at the same time, and if so was it 2.4 GHz? try with wifi off?

[palm BT chip uses 1.1 signalling so streaming music uses >50% antenna duty cycle, which can work badly if antenna is used for wifi at the same time]

Finally got around to testing it again. I turned wifi off on my TX and on netbook and that helped. I think its more related to when using it I cant be also using netbook for other stuff.

Wow Dmitry, incredible stuff you're writing here, considering that A2DP was basically unheard of when these devices were made.

I tried it on a TH55 and an NX80.

TH55 - sound comes through with good quality but is garbled (I assume due to the slower processor).

NX80 with MSB1 - can't get the computer to discover the service, despite pairing with the app open.

Wasn't expecting it to work at all, so for anything to come through on the TH was amazing!

th55 should work, show me garbled (take a video and post it?)

msb1 may not implement the full BT api (namely RAW L2CAP sockets)
