| GRXViewPro resets. The latest GRXViewPro still has a bug where attempting to load some JPEGs causes it to crash and reset the Palm with a DMWriteCheckFail.
The really annoying thing about the bug is most of the time the same image will load in any image viewer or editor on Windows without a problem. (Those images, and many GRXViewPro will open, cause AcidImage to claim "insufficient memory".)
Usually what will fix it is simply opening the image in Photoshop and saving it over itself.
But now I have one that won't cure. It's not too large, GRXViewPro routinely opens images larger in both dimensions and file size.
I've even tried opening it in Photoshop, selecting all and copying to a new image then deleting the image from the card, saving a different image to the card (hopefully to force the problem image to be written to different blocks) then saving the copied/pasted/flattened problem image to the card.
Still no dice! Photoshop CS4 seems to be retaining whatever it is with this image that's giving GRXViewPro digital indigestion.
Opening and saving over itself with Microsoft Photo Editor* fixes or removes whatever it is GRXViewPro does not like. I just did that so I no longer have the image in its problem causing form.
Sooo, *this* time it's fixed, but it's highly likely I'll run into another one with the same problem. Would be nice if another release of GRXViewPro was forthcoming with this problem fixed - which it's had for a long time.
*I have Office 2003, I installed the final version of MSPE from Office 2000, just that, nothing else from 2000.
