violator Registered User Join Date: Dec 2010 Posts: 4	sony pegt615c hotsync not working Hello I have Sony pegt615c i am using access 6.2.2 desktop my computer is acer net book XP after getting past internal error 2738 and downloading palm desktop i try to hotsync it goes thru the process says hot sync completed successfully but their is no data transfer i checked account name on computer and pda they are the same. I know it is a older palm device but i got it for free and i would like to use it any help. Thanks

So violator, have you tried going to sonyclie.org to get the regular palm desktop for sony clie T series? Be careful not to sync to Outlook unless you want outlook sync. Ask for some more help and we will try to walk you thru the steps again. __________________ Th-55 U, T/X, TG-50, Handspring Deluxe (3) and PSP user.

i went to sony site and downloaded palm desktop 4.1.4g hotsync now working except for quick install any more sugestions. thanks

philpalm Registered User Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Alhambra Posts: 1,196	Quick install can be over ridden and you can just move the programs into the memorystick card. Unfortunately only under 126K cards can be used. I can get 32k memorystick cards (sold by PSP users because they are so smalll) and use an adaptor to allow it to be read in a sj-30. I believe you have MS import on your desktop (supplied by clie source or by the installation CD), turn that program on and your T615 becomes a memorystick card reader.... violator Registered User Join Date: Dec 2010 Posts: 4	sony peg t615c quick install I put programs in quick install do a hot sync says completed successfully i check PDA cannot find programs so i sent them to MS then went to palm found them their tried to copy from MS to internal on palm i get this message Current folder is access inhibit. try another hot sync but i get message those files are already their. Were did they go why can i not access them Thanks for any help

philpalm Registered User Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Alhambra Posts: 1,196	Couple of things to check when putting programs in: that they are in .prc .jpg .pdb or other format readable by palm device that they are unpacked from .zip into a .prc format that the program is compatible for OS 4 because some OS5 programs are notbackward compatible to OS4 (give names of programs you are adding though file Z program is highly recommended to al palm users __________________ Th-55 U, T/X, TG-50, Handspring Deluxe (3) and PSP user.
