Windows 7 upgrade

Upgraded to Windows 7, 64 bit recently and found I could no longer hotsync my NX80V. I could not find any USB drivers to use. Luckily I have the Professional version and found I could download the Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode. It is like having an older computer in a new computer. Loaded all the software within the virtual pc and works just fine. So if you are upgrading, get the Professional or higher version.

Question

Something similar happened to me. Just went through the upgrade to Windows 7 Premium Home-64 Bit, and found my Tungsten C will not sync. Has anyone else had the same problem, and what solution have you found?

Talking

I actually got some headway done, this is for anyone with a Palm OS device and the 64-bit Windows 7 upgrade. For my Tungsten C, I first tried Palm Desktop 6.2, it glitched where the view on my contacts/calendar/tasks/memos disappeared completely, plus forget about usb cable connection...it pretty much comes down to a 32-bit driver trying to work in a 64-bit enviroment, try either wi-fi sync or bluetooth. Took that version off and went back to the 4.14 version that worked originally with my T|C, but no luck on the wi-fi sync. So I took a shot in the dark and used the 4.14e version made for the TX, Lifedrive, and later Treo devices, and it worked with the wi-fi sync without problems.

Hello there.

I'm trying to get a TH55 working in XP Mode but the XP VM won't see the device in the cradle. I have installed the Desktop and drivers, etc., and allowed 'virtualisation' in BIOS, but the XP just won't see the USB connection.
Do you have any ideas?

I would be very grateful. Thanks.
