| if cardspeed succeeds, then card is read, and you just need fat32 installed right
figure out how to do that

FAT32 installed. BigCards installed.
----------
2GB FAT32 SD works well (read/write)(VFSMark OK, CardSpeed OK, Card info OK, RescoExplorer CheckCard OK ).
-----------
4GB TRANSCEND (TS4GSDC) FAT32
Palm = "The handheld cannot recognize this card"
Card info = "Size: None", "Format failed"
CardSpeed = "Failed to Read Card,... E=0x00000502"
RescoExplorer CheckCard = Fatal Alert(Reset) |

| Just to add on. Got my hands on a 4Gb card as well. Tested and found working on a TX and Lifedrive, but not recognised on my T3 even with FAT32 and Bigcard installed.
Not really complaining 'cos I know it's been released for free by Dmitry and I know he's a one man show when it comes to his software. Just thought I'd add on so that at least everyone knows it's not an isolated incident with elv.
My T3 has had it's lifetime extended several times already with battery changes, digitiser changes and now with 2Gb card support, so the lack of 4Gb card support is a minor issue to me. |

Is it a 4GB-SDHC or one of the rare 4GB-SD-Cards ? |

One of the rare 4Gb SD cards. Transcend 133x. Actually they're not really rare. I found a shop here in Singapore with loads of them. |

| I got a few crashes with my 4G-card . It happend with the T3 or with my cardreader.
I use now the SD-Formater to format the card (all switch on). It works great for about 2 month. Linux shows the partition size correct, before there where an unused 4Mb-partition |

| Another tip in case anyone is having trouble installing BigCards.prc. Fileprog, Palm, and Filez failed to copy the .prc to RAM successfully. I usually got some error message. Resco Explorer worked beautifully. This tip is for 2GB card only. I haven't tried anything with the 4GB cards yet.

Dmitry, please patch the WiFi driver if you have now free time.
I believe _Psyborg sent you the driver to e-mail. If not I can do it. |
