I've been using Palm devices a very long time but I'm new to skins. I looked at many skins for SkinUI last night and almost all of them have either a black or a very dark colored background, and most of the rest have very light color backgrounds only (I'd describe them as the color of pastels --my 11-year old son insists they are for girls only). Why is that? Is there a way to change the background color to say, dark or medium blue?
Also, I see some 'backgrounds' (eg. Takephone(?)_screens) posted here which I've sync'ed to my Treo 680 but I'm not seeing them displayed in the Treo. Where are they? Am I supposed to be seeing them when I turn on my Treo or do I have to select them? I went to the Palm's Prefs icon selection but all I see are color themes.
Newbie questions, for sure, but I need your help. Help!
