Can't find a wifi spot?

Or suppose the free wifi spot is slow or clogged with users? Here is a USA today article on having your own portable wifi spot that will connect up to five users:
http://www.usatoday.com/tech/column...e-hotspot_N.htm
Supposedly it is from Verizon and soon to be from other phone providers.

Since you are limited to 5GB of data you might want to use an Ad blocker.

You won't be able to use it on an Airplane.

If you are really desparate for a wifi spot, the news mentioned that New Chrysler vehicle line will be able to have their own wifi hotspots.

More details and other wifi spots:

I will probably never own a Chrysler, but this is great tech integration!

Yes, a nice try by Chrysler to get more interest in their sub par vehicles IMO. More automakers will catch on to this very quickly the integration of 3g and soon to be 4g technologies in your vehicle is coming in the very near future. If the Obama administration would realize that by getting major improvements in the broadband wireless infrastructure in this country could turn around this recession so much more quickly. OK time to end my rant.
