| depends on what you have tried and failed. You can not load the PC files on the PDA or the PDA files on the PC.
It should be as easy as 1, 2, 3.
Install the desktop.
Create a user
Move the PIM data files from the backup into the PIM data files for the user you created.

| Well, the plot thickens. I had a chat with Palm, and they sais that the files in my restore folder were for apps, not data files. Whick would explain why I was able to restore my DtBk6, but not my address book. Then I found a memory card that had an NV Backup on it. I selected restore and in the process of restoring, ran across a buch of error messages, culminating in a fatal error message after reset, requiring me to hard reset.
Can you restore an NV Bckup to a desktop and then get the desired data from there?
...or what? |

| NVBackup is for NVFS Palm only.
Zire71 is not NVFS
Maybe the NVBackup data can be 'manipulated' on a computer and then transferred, I don't know' Pruss would be the one to answer that.
To Sync PIMs only see @ http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/NUA/launchKB.asp?c=12926
Your link in Post #1 is not so I don't know what is wrong with your TX but just in case.
Can you Beam the PIMs ?
