At least on my post When you see SPAM on the board, you can click on that in the offensive post to "Report Bad Post" and explain that it's SPAM. That should do the trick.
I suppose it also depends upon whether or not a moderator comes on line and acts upon reports of spam.
I think the moderation here at 1src is very loose, and people like me and hedge seem to get a pass that otherwise would get things posted removed.
After all where else can you get a top post and talk about anything related to palm and handheld devices? However longer posts can clear up any misconceptions about what you are asking. I suppose if we paypaled moderators we would be accused to bribing them and making posts really biased...
