| Some thoughts and opinions regarding this Podcast:
Alan - are you planning on only doing one podcast per month now?
8gig is a non issue for most people.
Jeff Kirvin check out Sprint AIRAVE for in house coverage option (voice only)
Question – do you think VZW will get the Pre after the Sprint exclusive period ends?
There was one demo video I saw on Youtube that the Palm employee called his phone from the Pre.
Launch date will be in 2nd quarter, not in March (hope I’m wrong on this one)
Also think that the Pre will cost $250 when released.
Centro will be the last Palm OS phone!

| I'm not sure if Verizon is going to get the Pre right after the Sprint exclusive ends. I have to agree with Jeff. I think that when Sprint's exclusive sends, we're going to see a GSM version of Pre going out the door. I would expect that Vodafone and AT&T will have Pre before the end of 2009. Verizon hasn't been showing Palm much love lately, so I'm sure they will want to have something to replace the Centro (VZW has already stopped selling the 755p) and the Pre will have to be it.
With the Sprint Treo Pro getting pushed back for testing it is hard to say if the Pre will ship in Q1 or Q2. Maybe the Pro is taking a back seat to Pre testing. If that is the case, then we could see a Q1 launch. But if Sprint is testing the Pro first, and then plans to test the Pre, then I think Q2 is the target to be looking at.
I don't see how Palm will be able to get a way with more than $300 for the Pre after carrier subsidies are applied. I expect the Pre to sell in the $550 - $600 range without a contact.

Podcast 205 was good, but where is podcast 206?
I was hoping since Palm announced the Pre that the podcasts would become more regular again, since there is now more to talk about.

Wow! I'm glad to hear that there are still people out there. It has been a really long time since the last show. I had better get off my rear end and get another show in the can.
There have been a couple of things that have been keeping me from doing a show more regularly and I'll get into a few of them on the next show. The bottom line is that it is getting harder and harder to find about 3 hours a week to put these things together.
All right, let me get going so I can crank out a new script!

| Hate double posting but I'm on mobile so...yeah great podcast! Feels good to finally open up a soda and drink along with this podcast. I just hope your wrong for the late may predictio. For the Pre. I am dying to get it and want it early April. I guess I shouldn't have set my hopes up that high. Cursed palm for saying it's going to be here sooner than you think.
