| Alphasmart Dana wireless: Software somebody? Hi,
I've just bought an Alphasmart dana wireless here in Germany.
It came without the CD ... so I don't have any tools to use Wifi etc.
Does anybody have an Alphasmart and its CD and give me a copy of this?
I've written an email to Alphasmart but still no answer ... :-(
Hope somebody can help me.

| I don't have a Dana Wireless, but just a Dana (16MB version). However, my understanding is that the Wireless version should have the wifi software in ROM. (These include Wifile & WiStat.) You should not need the CD (which mainly contain Desktop & conduit software). |

| Hi,
thank you for your answer. That's my problem: My dana does NOT have any of the tools in ROM :-(
How can I determine if I have an UK or US dana? They say that the UK-Version has the EURO-sign on key "4". Does the US-Version have NO Euro sign?
On my dana I have the Euro sign on key "E".
What if I use a UK ROM update on an US dana? Will I damage this thing?
The problem is that I need a german keyboard layout and I don't know what happens after the update and which one to choose :-(

| I think you need the wi-fi CD. I could send you the files if you want them though. |

Hey, I have a Dana Wireless and also never got the original software CD.
Can you email me the files as well? My email address is my 1src user name at yahoo. If that doesn't work I can provide my gmail address.
Thanks so much!!!
