| PEG-T665C Sony Clie Vista help I recently upgraded to Windows Vista (not so much by choice) and I quickly discovered that my PEG-T665C will not sync up with the palm calendar. Does anyone know if it is possible to make this sync up via a patch/download or whatever, or do I need to toss the ol' Clie and get something newer? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks! |

| Questions: - What on the desktop do you sync against, Palm Desktop, Outlook, other? (I am assuming Palm Desktop).
- Does the device Hotsync without error, but none of your calendar information is transferred from the hand-held to the desktop? (I am assuming yes).
- What about the other three PIM applications (Address Book/Contacts, To Dos/Tasks, Memo Pad/Memos)? (I assume these do not sync either.)
- What version of Palm Desktop and Hotsync Manger are you using?
- Is this the version distributed by Sony, or Palm?
Assuming ALL my above assumptions are correct: - Assuming you are using Palm Desktop 6.2 and HotSync Manager 7.0, try uninstalling and installing Palm Desktop 4.1.4E or 4.1.4.
- Assuming Palm Desktop 4.1.4E, try 4.1.4.
- Could you consider syncing against something else, like Outlook? If so, try going back to Palm Desktop 6.2 and HotSync Manager 7.0, but then install a third party conduit such as Pocket Mirror. This will cause extra, but there is a trial period.

| It's a Sony Clie PEG-T665C, I have been syncing up to Windows XP with the software that came with it, which is Sony Software Palm Powered Ver. 1.01 (OpenMG) - With the new Windows Vista, I don't get any error message except cannot locate port possibly. None of the other apps sync either.

| You can try running older Windows in WMware or another emulator and then try to sync...
