 |  Install cd for Clie NX73V Needed!!!Help
I just bought a used Sony Clie and it dosen't have the install cd. Can anyone here help with a link or send complete file to my email..PLease help new to the wonderful world of Clie..

| Welcome to 1src formerly known as Clie source. Congratulations on getting a Sony Clie. Answers here may be a little slow because there are less Clie users now. Please read a bit more here: http://www.1src.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=58

Thanks for the reply .sure i would love to pay someone for the install CD..however I live in Brazil..and I am not sure how that would work..Any suggestions would be helpful.Thanxs

| Basically you want the more advanced desktop and the drivers for your Sony Clie. Good luck in finding it and installing it. Of course try sonyclie.org.....

| I was short the CD when I purchased my NX70V on ebay, and found that Palm.com was a resource for Palm Desktop Software, which the Sony site does not have. Sony support directed me towards using the "Centro"/At&t (or any)/ and then just the Desktop software, not anything else, which might be dangerous on a Clie. The Hotsync Manager and the more elaborate Palm Desktop Software work great. Perhaps this is all very obvious to experienced users, but I was desperate and very grateful for their help. | |

| Welcome to 1src Iomlfoml (stealing the idea of welcoming from Brighthand) Glad you can join us here. Glad to hear you have experience in using a Sony Clie without the installation CD. I've just installed my TX to my windows desktop without the installation CD and didn't know you can do that with the NX70V. Someone is selling a Clie here in los Angeles and I might take them up on the offer.
There is a more elaborate Desktop that is offered for TE2 and TX, it offers Media and you can put pictures much easier than using the bare bones desktop. When you press the help button on the palm desktop you will see the version it is (from my th-55 installation CD it is version 4.1)
