| Hi:
Just to say I've been using SlavoEd with my T/X, both English and Spanish dictionaries without a problem since I bought my T/X in late 2005.

| I'd vote for the palmos Wifi libraries and software. Very often I get 2 or 3 resets immediately I choose to enable wifi on my LD running Update 2.0, a reset cycle is also what you can expect if BT is enabled at the same time. |

| Spugly Award Announcement At last night’s Stanford PalmPilot User Group meeting, the following awards were announced:- The Spugly Award™ for the Worst Palm OS Software Ever was awarded to VersaMail.
- The Failed Turing Test Award for the Most Robotic Technical Support went to Paragon/Penreader Software.
- A Special Anti-Spugly Award was given to Dmitry Grinberg of PalmPowerups for COP (Chunk Over-lock Protector™), which was written during the meeting and mitigates the effects of a Paragon/Penreader bug.
Thanks to the forum participants at 1src and our anonymous experts for their nominations. The awards will be recorded on the Spug web site when the server is back up. |

| It was a rough hack(made in an hour or so) just for that purpose. I do not think a wide distribution of it is needed or warranted.

| Cool hack, but you *don't*want to need it. Quote: | Originally Posted by icefireicefire Download? The right solution is to switch to competing software which manages its memory properly. Which my wife will do as soon as some professional Russian lexicon is available from anybody else. |

IMO, that is absurd. No, VersaMail is not the flashiest email program you've ever seen, but it is a basic program which does the job for a lot of folks. Kind of like the other PalmOS PIM apps. Certainly there are other programs which shame VersaMail, but it comes bundled with the OS for "free" and to call it the worst software ever is so ridiculous you shouldn't wonder if your user group membership is dwindling.

| I am using versamail, even though it is a very basic email client for Palm OS, I think it is still a very useful application considering that it can sync Exchange Server. It is not as powerful as Snapper Mail or Chatter Mail, but It still does not deserve to be awarded as the ugliest application for Palm OS. There are tons of useful apps out there that deserve the award. |

| For the most robotic human support I vote for Pat Harris from http://www.hobbyistsoftware.com/ , the home of Reset Doctor. She seems to give the same answer regardless of the question.

| you should ask her "will your next yes-or-no answer be a no?" and watch her head explode

| I hope Dmitry’s experiment won’t be necessary. But I’ve pinged Rob Johnson of Hobbyist Software about the issue, so I hope Dmitry’s experiment won’t be necessary.
BTW, perhaps coincidentally, ThinkGeek is now selling an “I Failed the Turing Test” T-Shirt: http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/ge...aa00/?cpg=wnrdf |
