| 2 things I can't do OK, I am not that bright. No matter how I much I try I just can't:
1. use a 4GB card
2. make the wifi work (and I tried with the sandisk, palm one and spectec cards)
Can someone, pretty please with sugar on top, post a 4GB and a wifi for dummies?
Thanks in advance

| You cant use 4GB SDHC. It needs to be normal SD. The wifi card goes into slot 2 and needs the wifi driver: addictedtozodiac.com

| txs IFIF, great site ... but ...
I have already installed the Fat32 and the drivers for the sandisk and the palm one - but it just don't make any difference - the 4 GB card is not recognized (slot 1 or 2) and when I insert the wifi card (any of the 3) and try to launch the network the unit crashes.

| It is most likely a SDHC card? Try after a warm/hard reset.

| I think he might not be understanding what you mean.
There are multiple types of cards that fit into an SD card slot:
SD
SDHC
MMC
MMC-HC
SDIO
The Palm drivers for the zod only support SD, MMC and SDIO. If you purchase a card that is 4GB, it is most likely SDHC, which is incompatible.
HOWEVER, if you've seen that "Will you pay Dmitry $20" thread on here, that's what the big fuss is about... he's working on a replacement driver for Palm devices that will support your 4GB card.
Of course, Zodiac support is not high on his priority list; that thread outlines the order in which he plans to add device support.
--------------------
Or, are you saying that there is an incompatability with the WiFi SDIO card where you can't get an otherwise functional 4GB SD card to work at the same time as the WiFi card?
This is somewhat to be expected as the SD spec only goes to 2GB. The extra address space needed for supporting a 4GB card is likely tromping over the memory space needed for the WiFi card.

| I can't make a 4 GB SD card work OR a wifi card connect - not at the same time.
(at this time these problems are secondary: my first zodiac died the calibration death and the second is misbehaving: it does not turn off - once power is pressed it comes back on after a couple of seconds. I am starting to get fed up)
