That's quite unbelieveable. I would have thought that FAT32 could have worked out better compared to FAT. Anyway, I am still using a 2GB one because buying another 4GB will make the 2GB a bit redundant unless I want quite a few games in it.

FAt will always be faster than FAT32 - it has a upper limit of 64K entries, of 2 bytes each, so most fat drivers keep the fat table in ram since it only needs 128K, you cannot do this with fat32, so a disk access is needed every time the fat is needed - this is slow...
