Anyone heard anything about the Hitch USB bridge by Sima?

The product site FAQs also mention devices "supporting the Mass-Storage Device Standards".

I am curious if this would work between a Palm device and a USB flash drive? Seems plausible. I cannot run out and buy one to try at this time, but if it works I would be very happy. Anyone tried it? Any thoughts?

I have a similar USB Bridge and tried it on my UX50 and 1GB USB thumbdrive. It does not work. The Palm device is not recognized as a USB drive. Note: I have the software that allows my UX's memory stick to be recognized the same as a thumbdrive when I connect to a PC and it still does not allow the USB bridge to work.

Of course, you could always attach a card reader to the other side of the bridge and transfer files that way.

Wow! I thought this would never surface again. Thanks for your thoughts ixle and _em. I had given up on this thread.

One of the devices I was hoping would work is a USB harddrive. I thought it would be cool to be able to utilize a large off device storage area. I have since decided that the practical use would be hard to come by. I would like the ability to seemlessly access another device as if it were another card on my TX, but I have since found that this is not feasible in the TX (at least not yet ).

Anyway, thanks for your input.

What you really need is an SDIO card that supports USB out the other end... not something you're likely to find (and you wouldn't be able to use your SD card at the same time) but something that would definitely be neat
