Not working here

Hi Dimitry

Ran the app, it updated ROM, then rebooted LD, sat at normal Date prefs window, I went to the main screen and ran the app again. It asked for the reg code, giving me my unique ID. I paid with PayPal (Thanks!)and entered the resulting code and it just blinks and asks for the code again.

any ideas?

2gb SD card, 4gb CF card in unit currently, otherwise stock. I tried it running Launcher X, my normal launcher, and running normal OS launcher.

My info is at palmpowerups under mendodave username.

BTW: Copied powerdrive.prc to SD card with boot.ini and boot.bmp, then copied to RAM. Also tried Hotsyncing to RAM. Mac OS X, 10.5.2, Missing Sync 6.02

David

Hello Dimitry

I followed the previous discussion and read the instructions on your website as I am very interrested in your application and have two questions left.
1: am I right that the Lifedrive can be hardreset any time after I have run your application, e.g. to erase everything and start from scratch?
2: Does the Lifedrive need to be on during the exchange of the CF? I changed my MicroDrive for a CF already but disconnected the Battery during the works. On your website it is stated not to use any metalic tool during the works. This leads me to the assumption, that the Battery must not be disconnected and propably even the LD has to remain "On" all the time?

Thanks for answering

Bernhard

Dear Dimitry,

I have been following related discussion and have the following questions :
1. My LD is with Chinese display (multi-language version?), can I use PowerDrive?
2. What content in my LD MD would be handled by PowerDrive?
What content in my LD MD do I need to copy to the CF after PowerDrive finished?
3. If I use PowerDrive to change from MD to 4G CF, then at later stage
I want to change from 4G CF to 8G or 16G CF. Can I ? How ?

I have been using your software for several years and look forward to use PowerDrive to inject new life into my LifeDrive.

Best Regards.

I just turn the LD off and lock the switch while performing surgery.
