A launcher like "Kid Zone"

Hi, anyone know of a launcher that will work kind of like "Kid Zone" for Palm OS. Kid zone will allowing only certain applications to run, it needs a passwork to unlock the device and give the user access to all applications.

"Kids Zone" does not seem to work on my son's Zodiac.

I want to keep him locked out of games and use it for mp3 and other misc.

Thanks for your thoughts?

I haven't played around with all of the features of LauncherX, but I think there is a way to hide one or more tabs and require a password to show them. ZLauncher might have that too. You could put all of the apps you want your son to use in one or two tabs, then hide the rest.

The best way to restrict what he can use on the Zodiac is to remove anything you don't want him to use. If it's not there, he can't use it...

Launcher X uses a tabbed interface, and will let you "hide" tabs, and assign a password to unhide them, so you could theoretically put the stuff you don't want him to access on hidden tabs and hide them, with a password he doesn't know to reveal them.

This will not prevent him from installing games. How old is your son, and why do you want to restrict his usage like that?

Launcher X is here: http://www.launcherx.com

Current versions have Zodiac specific fixes, like, the joystick now works to navigate in the launcher. (That had been broken in earlier releases.)
