| To sum up the thread you can't change a Japanese Clie into English. Your best bet as someone pointed out is to learn Japanese, specially since you are living in Japan (lucky you). If you travel to Hong Kong you might find a company that can reflash you pda, otherwise it you won't be able to change it. |

| If it is from english to japanese, that would be simple. You just need to add something that does japanese (i. e. cjkos), and add other applications depending on how much japanese he wants the apps to do. However the thread is japanese to english, and I understand that in HK they will modify a japanese clie so that it has an english os . As for the warranty, he will have to decide what is better; english or warranty. But having a japanese clie would be a good reason to learn to use it. |
