If Only it were Cheaper

Am I the only person that thinks the Foleo would be absolutely perfect if it were, say, $200 or even $250?

I am going to buy an iMac for college. I don't want a MacBook or MacBook Pro, I want a big screen for my desk. But, I do want something light and easy to carry around for taking to class, etc. I think the Foleo would be perfect for this, but I don't know if I'm willing to pay $500 for the privilege. Can anyone recommend a cheapish laptop-esque device that has similar functionality to the Foleo, but isn't $500?

Thanks.

Is there any idea when the Eee is coming out? I think Palm should rethink the Foleo's pricing...to me, the Eee seems more powerful than the Foleo.

With Treo's costing $299-$599 (with or without contract) I think the Foleo should be about $200. It is a "companion" product and should not be more then the device it is supplementing. I would be waiting for a $200 device ... somewhat interested at $250 ... and not even bothering to look at $300.

I just purchased a 755p and I can really see how the foleo could do well, but I think the price will keep many from realizing it.

But... that's really only the marketing. It really is a great stand alone device. I'm not going to use mine to sync mail at all.
