| Please help ... Error when installing... I have a Clie NX70V.
I downloaded some .zip programs on my desktop computer. When I click on the .prc file to install it onto my Clie, an error window pops up: "Unable to install C:\...... .prc . File does not exist"
What does it mean? I never had this problem before. Now, I'm getting this error when trying to install any program...
Please help!
Thanks a lot!

| Did you unzip the file(s) first?

Did you try starting over again after rebooting the desktop PC?
I would delete whatever you downloaded, restart windows, download the file again, and then try to install. There is always weird stuff happening in windows.

| Also, try unzipping the file, then use the Install Tool app on the desktop to install the unzipped file.
Check your file association for zipped files.

| I suggest the following:
find another prc file (any) double click it.
(that's one easy way to get the pop up window for the installation - there are other ways to get there).
Remove each and every prc on the list.
unzip the prc you want to install and place it on you desktop (or somewhere else you can find it)
Double click the unzipped prc
Try to hotsync again.
Hope this helps. |

Yes, this is also a good idea you can try, do this first after a restart, just to be sure it's only the new prc that is giving you the problem.
