| Why Choosing Zlauncher ? Could you explain me why so many people love Zlauncher ?
I tried it on my TH55 but I don't like it (now I use SilverScreen)...
I'm wondering if I'm missing something. |

| Because some people like vanilla, some like chocolate, and some like neither. |

| You quite likely are missing something, as ZL is the kind of app that you have to use for awhile to fully appreciate. It's biggest benefit is it's power and customizability, and it would be hard to appreciate those things in a quick trial run. It has great file management, great speed, and can be set up to look almost anyway you want. If you're really interested in learning all of it's benefits, I would suggest reinstalling it and/or checking out the many threads about it in the launchers forum here. |

| tsensei,
Because ZLauncher simply rocks!
Actually, I think rldunn summed it up quite nicely. When I bought my copy recently, I spent almost a full day becoming familiar with it's features, what skins, themes, and icon sets were available for it, and what the differences were between ZLauncher and the default Sony launcher. I messed around with almost every checkbox and tab, and customized my top and bottom icon bars to figure out the most efficient layout for my needs.
I can tell you at this point that I will NEVER go back to the standard launcher, as ZLauncher has made my TH55 not only a work of art to behold, but a sleek, powerful, efficient machine that I can ACTUALLY navigate quickly and easily.
I put off installing an alternative launcher because I figured it was just another way of starting up the same applications and that it wouldn't really buy me anything. In the case of ZLauncher, I must admit that I was wrong - it is not just a launcher, but a faster, easier way to interact with my Clie and organize my information and applications. Great software!
Best wishes,
Bawko

| I enjoy Zlauncher as well, even as a beta tester for them it has truly been a pleasure. I like the latest beta the best!

| Good Evening-
I prefer SilverScreen. I was never a ZL fan (tried it four times), but I am former YiShow user. SilverScreen was the first launcher I used. Ironic that I have come full circle.

P.S. tsensei, I am going to assume that it is a coincidence that your screen name is the last seven letters of the software devlopers who own Silver Screen (Pocket Sensei). Strange coincidence though, eh?

Interesting Could possibly be trying to milk some market research out of ClieSource? |

| I was a die-hard Launcher X user until very recently. I had tried ZLauncher several times but not really played with it enough. Then one day I tried again, got my settings right and realised it's superiority...

| Another "whatever floats your boat" debate over the subjective likes/dislikes of launcher apps. I agree that ZL rocks! Those who don't like it or appreciate the value add it brings . . . cool! Enjoy your choice! There's a good chance I wouldn't want the car you're driving either! Having fun . . . don't take it personal!

| Hmm, I don't think that tsensei was looking for answers like the vanilla/choc answer or 'whatever floats your boat.' I also find this to be an issue. I really don't understand ZL. I've been using it for a week, I've messed with EVERY setting, and I'm still trying to figure out its superiority over the default launcher, or Clie Organizer (for the TH-55).
