| Got my UX50 today and I have my first gripe.. I should have spotted it earlyer THE SPACE BAR!
I put it on the desk to try quasi-touchtyping with 4 fingers but if you look at the lip where the buttons are it makes it difficult to press with your thumb (like a normal keyboard) I instinctivly pressed the back button :P well I might hack the browser shortcut key to act as space and it will be kinda OK but yeah..
I know I wont be typing like this much (if at all) but still, that would have been nice to thumb the space bar
I am currently waiting the 4 hours for it to charge ARRRGGGGHH!!!!!! |

| Congratulations!
How much is your UX-50?
As I know, it is about 70,000 Japanese Yuan.
I am also waiting 4 hours more to read about your UX-50 more.

| Congrats Sonicboy. I don't think you made a mistake, the UX is a first class machine. But 4 finger typing? Nope. Wanna borrow my Psion . Bought the NX here in Singapore today.
Post some snapshots taken with the UX soon, would like to see the quality. |

69,800Yen plus 5% tax is the list price (or SRP) that you pay in a shop like Bic Camera, Yodobashi etc. (not using a point card).
I guess that Sonicboy was checking out www.kakaku.com or www.bestgate.net and made a better deal and bought it somewhere else. The street price of the UX50 is already down at 61,800 Yen excl. tax. |

I pretty much already sold on it without even seeing it, you're lucky that it's out. I can't wait for the U.S. release! |

| DAMN!
the ux is so popular that in the time between when I posted my clie pics and movies and now (when I moved it to a different sever) I got a spike of 800MB+ traffic!
lucky I was making a new email account for my ux and saw it or the server would have died!
new site is here: http://homepage.mac.com/sonicboy/clie/

| Can you (or someone) please post a picture of the UX, comparing it in size to the NX80, but with the UX on its side and the NX up and down. I'm trying to get a sense of how the width of the UX compares to the height of the NX and the height of the UX to the width of the NX.
Thanks |

actually.. I dont think so!
I dont have the manual but by default it saves them on the 16 along with all the other stuff! thats pretty odd as the extra space IS for media files and that is where files from the camera/mic would go... if you dont have an MS
I've been putting that stuff on my memory stick so so far I havn't had to think about that 16mb... the images are like 7k each
anyway I'll post a wav from the mic as well as movies and pics (after I finish playing) |
