If you had a file, such as Tinychart, which isn't important or even launchable, and you don't really want to see in the list of icons in ZLauncher (like the misc group) is it possible to somehow hide that app so it doesn't appear in the icons in any group?

There are a couple of apps that hide the icons of other apps from the launcher. I'm not sure if individual apps can be hidden, but using ZLauncher I just made a tab called Hide, then marked it as hidden in the tab preferences, then I can use the "Show/Hide Hidden Tabs" menu item to make it appear or disappear.

Use a file manager to uncheck the "launchable" bit from the file. It will be omitted from any application launcher program.

... or, if it is a launchable file, create a category "useless stuff", put all of these files in there and hide the category. I don´t know if you can trick ZLauncher in not showing an app if it´s "hidden" bit is set.

or even better in Zlauncher tap and hold on the icon that you want hidden
from the popup hit "info" then click on the "Attrs" box and tick the "hidden" option
"Done"
"Save"
youa re all set.
All you have to do now is go to Options/Zlauncher preferences and make sure that the "Show Hidden Items" check box is empty
To see ALL hidden items just tick that box and when you return to launcher they will all be showing
I do that and then also move them all to the "SYSTEM" tab and then tick the option to hide that tab as well
