| Hi nicolfa. Depending on where you live, maybe eBay would be a good option. |

| Haha.. . Guess noone wants to let their NZ90 go huh? Its really a damn robust machine. I just got mine a couple of days back, and I've been losing sleep playing with it. I am SO happy. I have 2 sets anyway, but one of which the bluetooth isn't working, and Sony said it'll cost like SGD$700 over bucks.
Ain't worth paying for man. Haha. . Hope you get your set soon. |

| OMG! You serious! I love you to bits Lorne Tontegode. . . Unfortunately, I found some guy who's willing to buy the dead Bluetooth set. Maybe I can pass the information to him though...
Anyway nicolfa, why don't you just send the set with the dead camera to Sony? They'll fix it for free, as the camera chip has a defect. |

| You dun need warranty to get it fixed for free. Its a defect on the CCD chip, and they'll fix it for free. My first set also had no warrranty, and I went down to Sony in hopes that they might be able to fix up my Bluetooth, but they were going to like charge me 700+ for it.
The thing is, even if I didn't pay for the repairs, they were still going to charge me an assessment fee of like 40+ dollars, but they even waived it off and I got my camera fixed for free. Very nice, very Sony.
Go fix it man. I was playing with my NZ90 the whole night yesterday, and I'm now at work feeling really really tired. LoL~ Yeah, the NZ90 is so worth it.

| Hey there chacalau! I really am not too sure about the UX50, though it looks like a really swell machine. I love my NZ90 to bits, though there are 2 things that I'm sure could be improved:
1st would be the 16mb RAM. This is so damn pathetic. Even though I'm using PowerRun which is a great piece of software, the whole idea is I shouldn't even be worried about things like that to begin with. I also have a Pocket PC Jornada 568, and even that, is pre-loaded with 64mb. So memory-wise...
2nd thing is the battery life. I wish I could use it more outside with the backlight on. LoL.. And taking pictures with it, is a real problem especially if the battery is not on a full charge, as switching it to camera sucks juice straight out of the battery like a sponge. However, the picture quality is great. LOVE IT!
How's the UX-50 anyway? Issit any good? I like how it looks like a little laptop. Sure brings on the stares I would presume everytime you're at Starbucks.

| I have only had the NZ90 for about three days, so this is my observations.
Inregards to the camera, it kicks the HELL out of the UX's. The pictures are vivid! it
really does take great pictures. Video recording is the SAME as the UX's.
Battery life comparison, well they both suck in this department. The UX's battery just plain out sucks. The NZ90's does hold out real well, though not as long as my NX73's. The exception being when the flash is used, that drains the battery in a HURRY. So when taking pictures, using the flash be prepared. I have three batteries for mine (cheap on eBay) so its not a bad thing for me. Without the flash in use it takes alot of pictures. There is one HUGE difference between the two units ... the battery for the NZ90 is REMOVABLE. The unit has a reserve internal battery that holds for a few minutes, allowing you to switch between batteries without reseting the machine. The UX only has the external battery which doubles the units size.
The removable (switchable) battery option gives the NZ90 the potential for alot more use time with a few extra charged batteries.
Memory wise, with the proper management of the programs and use of apps like powerun things will go smoothly.
Observations - its not as bad to hold as one might think, certainly solid. Not tiny like a UX. Mp3 playback is really good (with mca2), Video's playback fine etc. The UX has two main things over this machine, size and portrait. Size ... the NZ90 wasn't meant to be small so it isn't -wide grin-. Portrait ... there are apps to do this, so it can be mimiced (uncomfortably).
Personally I have a pda/phone which is small and usable ... so the UX is a gimic I have at home. The NZ90's camera makes it very useful with my job, security claims work.
Just thoughts.
(I have a UX40, NZ90, NX73, SX66, HX4705 and TG50)
