I'm trying to get a TJ35 in to console mode so that I can use "device seizure" software to connect to it via USB, with no success. I've tried the "lowercase L" short cut followed by .. and even just one . followed by 2. No Joy. Any body any clues? I looked at this site http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/d...le.html#1014672
but it didn't work.
On your Palm Powered device, or in the emulator program, draw the shortcut symbol. This is a lowercase, cursive "L" character. Next, tap the stylus twice, to generate a dot (a period). Next, draw the number 2 character.
This process does work. However there is no indication on the CLIE that it has entered Console Mode. The only way of confirming that it has entered console mode is when you got to hot sync the device, you get a error warning telling you that the port is already in use.
To get out of console mode you need to do a soft reset of the device.
