I want to put some media on my lifedrive, but I can't because an entire gigabyte of memory is unaccounted for, so it won't fit.
When I put my LD into drive mode, I select all of the files/folders, right-click, and hit "properties". It tells me that they take up 1.9GB. I then look at the free space: 581MB. That adds up to ~2.5GB, not the 3.85 that the LD is supposed to have. I've checked the box that says to show hidden files, but that doesn't change anything. Where could the space have gone?
[EDIT]: When I look at the free space on the LD itself, it reports 1.8GB free. Why is there a difference? I'm running Fedora Core 5 in Gnome on the desktop.
