Yeah, we're just bringing folks who missed it up to speed I guess. Don't know where my buddy DanT's been the last couple of weeks . . . snortin' rice from battery bags I guess!

LOL. I've been burying my head in the sands as far as ZLauncher concerns. I've seen the discussions of beta versions and people moaning about these and those that don't work, so I've ignored ZLauncher threads until today. The option of being able to edit icon sets caught my attention and now I have catching up to do.

BTW, do you know where Sake comes from?

Yes, it's a Japanese alcoholic beverage made from fermented rice! And one would have thought rice to be pretty harmless!

I had my own set of icons using icon factory (back when I was not a Mac user). I loaded up Sjweise's mac icon set, yet when I go to change an icon I only have about 30-40 available to choose from. Whats the deal? __________________ Freeware apps on my T\|X: NVBackup: NVFS friendly backup program Plucker: enables offline web page reading Syncer: scheduled hotsync via cradle, bluetooth or WiFi my review Yaps: password safe

Only a sub-set of an iconset showing up is a known bug. I personally (don't know about others) sent ZZTechs a bug report about this. Did not get a response and it's been a long time. I would have thought a 5.41 would have been out by now, but . . . maybe any day . . .

I find that you can only choose icons from an iconset that is not currently being used by the launcher theme. I have four iconsets on my MS, but I can only choose to change icons from the three iconsets not being used. Do not know if this is intended or a bug.

I don't find that at all. I tap/hold an icon on the app I want to change, choose info, tap the icon in the upper left corner and "select," select either an icon within the loaded set, or use Source: dropdown arrow to choose another set to open in edit mode to pick from. Either way, when I tap an icon and "OK," it replaces the icon right on my palmtop. I tested and replaced one from current set with another one from current set with no problem.

Remember after you are done with changes you need to save the active set in RAM back to the card, because in Theme Manager whenever you load a new theme, background, or iconset, the one in RAM gets deleted . . . it's a one-way street!

There are some here - Gant set is awesome. Many ZL themes, even some of the older ones have iconsets in them. If you see the file name as "ZLI*.* - it's an iconset.
