Those are some powerful words...

But, it's actually fairly easy to do....

I believe you should be able to replace the battery by just removing the battery cover/door.

Here's why:

1. First take out the screw to the battery door.

2. Remove the battery door. I used a small flathead screw driver and lifted the door off. You want to first lift up the corner where the screw hole is located.

Do not try and force the door off because the cover has tabs on top of the door and on the left bottom corner that could break off. Start with the corner located where the screw hole is and lift the door off on an angle.

3. After you get the door off you should be able to see the battery.

With the flathead I hook the wires and drag them up using the wires to gently pull enough of the battery out to grab it with my fingers.

Once the battery is all the way out, grab the wires by the neck of the connector and gently pull to disconnect it from the mainboard. It comes out easily so you shouldn't have to use much force at all.

4. Grab your new battery, place the connector into the mainboard (should be able to do it with your fingers using the wires as a guide. But just to make sure, you can use the flathead or anything else to give it a gentle push after you get it in there with your fingers to help secure it). Once connected just slide the battery into the slot and hide the wires. Put the door back on and screw it into place. DONE!

Charge your new battery and do all the testing etc...

All of this is assuming the replacement battery is of the same size and the wires are of equal length. Otherwise, it wouldn't be as easy as say: "plug and play". You would probably have to open the unit up some more to get to the battery.

Always remember to use caution, take your time and be gentle.
