I'd start clean also. There's too much that can go wrong moving everything from one device to another.

Get a TH55 if that's what fits your needs. Get a LifeDrive if that's what will.

I almost bought a TH55 when they came out, but Sony's exit from the market put me off. The LD is fantastic for me. Weigh your needs and buy what fits them.
