I downloaded the MMPlayer v0.2.6 and v0.2.8 and they did not work on my TH55. It even changed my downloaded and hotsynced skins blue.pdb to blue.xml on the TH55. This is what I did. I downloaded and hotsynced the MMPlayer v0.2.8 to my MS card. And I tried the v0.2.6 and v0.2.12 and they did not work either. Am I doing something wrong with putting the MMPlayer on MS card?

Actually i never used any clie, but i guess all files of MM should be reside in memory, at least when running. Quote:
According to this, we can not re-encode divx video without seperating the audio streams IF the audio is AC3 encoded.
Any idea on this ? Maybe an ac3 codec that would open the file ?

Now, the most important information for us in here is the Audio Format information. If your audio format is in Ogg Vorbis or in AC3 format, we must separate the audio from the video file and re-encode the audio separately.

No, you don't need to separate anything, that's why it is VirtualDubMOD (MOD) - it natively support Mpeg2/ ac3, and other cool stuff.
Just look at my last picture posted, it has 5-channel AC3 track - original from DVD, so you just choose "Convert" and put it to 1 channel, or 2 channels (if you need stereo) Quote: |
I'm curious about how you're getting anything other than 320x240 to work on a T3. I've been trying this & that for months. I've tried 320x176 / 480x320 / 480x256 and all my T3 does is crash. I'm using Xvid video codec and MP3 audio codec. I have a Mac & use D-Vision. The settings I'm using are 200mhz bitrate, two pass, 48/128/stereo. Any advice would be appreciated.

There should be no problem. You probably mean 200kbps, and what is 48/128? ? Can you please download a example file(s) at the beginning and see if it's working, Also, did you try the guide ? Quote:
hi, very nice guide by the way, one problem though, on this end though, i can't rename the AVI file so that it is a PDB file, i have tried simply right-clicking and renaming it, and even going into properties, but the computer will still not recognize it as a PDB file, nor will hotsync, please can you help me with this problem, i am probly just missing something really simple.
Replies Greatly Appreciated,

Well, i know that Windows doesn't show you file extention unless you turn it on ito folder properties of windows explorer. So if you after renaming to .pdb your file will be actually video.pdb.avi - and it is still .avi file. But since you use Mac - i have no ide. I just know that there should be no problem to sync Large files, I synced 200mb file - it took 3.5 hours. But you have to configure you Install tool , so it will automatically add the file to the Card and not to main memory. Hope this helps
