Sony rates the NX70 at 5 hours over 10 days.
He, he, yeah we should all start mentioning wildy differreing usage figures. With backlight off, lowest, one third, 50% full, with or without using WiFi ...

It's just impossible to name any figure that is applicable for all situations.

For instance I easily get 2.5 hours of WiFi on my NX70 with low backlight, but then I have an AP that supports the powersafe mode. I have also gotten 9 hours of usage with backlight off (while logging GPS) Between 2.5 and 9 hours is quite a large gap.

For PocketPC's there is a tool that will predict the amount of time the battery will last from measuring it's voltage periodically. It just extrapolates the line after a few measurements. That way you can quickly see what impact certain changes have. Is there such a program for PalmOS?

Another point is that in 10 days you will lose a lot of charge even with the PDA off. That may sound like a silly point, but it might be about half the battery life!! I really have had a hard reset by just letting my Clie T625C laying around for a month or so. I didn't really understand why that heppened so quickly until I saw the VeritTest Palm vs PocketPC test where they tested that a Tungsten will lose all data in around 20 days (which they claimed was very good even).
