I have the same problem, but I have associated it with the end of the file transfer process in MS Import. The file zooms on the the MS, then everything freezes for about 2.5 minutes.

In the worst of times, I'll get a blue screen crash and have to reset my PC.

It sucks, but I am learning to live with it.
