FF3 is a 3D remake of the Japanese FF3 for NES, and it's for the DS.

The one I'm excited about is FFVI, which was FF3 for SNES in America. It's for GBA.

I would say go with the T|X. There's more support for Palm's OS addons, especially since Sony left the market. I'm sure you can find one for less than the MSRP, too.

The IR range is about the same as the Treo 650... that is, unusable. I would have been much happier if Palm took out IR and shaved a few millimetres from the thickness.

The TiBook has notoriously poor wifi reception because the antenna is behind the titanium and stuff. You can use certain Belkin 802.11g PC cards and they will show up as Airport Extreme.
