I have since deleted and reinstalled the desktop and cleaned the connections with rubbing alchohol and a Q-tip. No change. Any other suggestions? lan

rocki934, Decuma is a handwriting system that you train to write the way you print. You get to it by pressing the little A on the graffiti area. It's what I use because I'm new to Palm.
