From what I understand, TomTom uses the best mappping data (Tele Atlas), so if you really want to find your way around, that may be the way to go.

TomTom should be able to take care of Hong Kong...

TomTom should be able to take care of Hong Kong from what I understand. The Tele Atlas maps are good and should cover you there.
