NX70 for $420 AR at amazon

Amazon is selling the NX70 for $470 (have to add to cart to see the price), and then they offer a $50 rebate!

Wow!! That's a really good price. I just bought mine from BestBuy for $489 + Tax. Is that a BRAND NEW item or is it used? Also, does Amazon charge Tax to California? Thanks.:)

Thats brand new, free shipping and no tax ( they ship it from Nevada )

I ordered from amazon and I recieved my NX70 12-13 days ago. I purchased for 600 before rebate so I got free tax and shipping too. final cost was 550.

I have just emailed amazon about giving me a refund and sending back the difference of the money because it was so recent. Will they give me the difference, because they should. A retail store would.

If not tell them you'll return it and buy it again. Your just trying to save them the hassel.

Thank you!! I had bought an NX-60 for 419. Now I get the camera too!!

Amazon now (today vs yesterday) has it for $449.99 and with the $50 rebate that bring it down to $399 (which is the price overstock.com wants for a referbished one)

Does someone know how good amazon is about returns? I bought an nx60 for $450AR, but it had a reddish spot on the screen. I just returned it and ordered the nx70 for $420AR. Anyway, here's my little question: Can amazon be trusted to give me a refund on the nx60, or should I keep my new nx70 unopened until they give me a refund on the nx60, just in case they don't give me a refund? (The nx60 was sent back to them in as new condition, screen carefully cleaned, but of course the box has been opened. In one place on amazon's website they say they accept returns of "unopened" items. In other places they just say "undamaged".)

Thanks legion ! I had ordered the nx70 for $470 from amazon, today I emailed them and asked for a $20 refund to reflect the new price- they just said they would ! For $399 AR plus free shipping and no tax - the NX70 is great ! Sony indeed must be coming out with a model to replace it- thats fine with me, in a year or so I'll buy the new model when its heavily discounted to replace this NX70.

I know I'm dieing to buy this thing right now. but I need to know more about the vaporous NX73 and NX85 I don't care about the camera so the 85 doesn't mean much to me and if there just uping the NX73 by adding bluetooth I could care less abou that. And I'm all over the NX70 with a clear mind.

Pruss,

I have ordered, and unfortuately, had to return several PDAs to Amazon over the years. No Problems. I like it because you can log into your account and set up the RMA yourself and even print out the labels to return it via UPS or USPS (your choice). And, if the device is defective the return shipping is free (from the label you printed) if not and you just do not like it, they deduct it from your refund. All of my returned PDAs had been opened, but I packed them up neatly and returned them noting (bad battery, screen, button defects, etc..). Never a problem. I will order again most likely, because of their prices, return policy, and availability of coupons online. Dam* I should have been paid for this. Good luck.

They have it for $449+ shipping minus $50 rebate. Some states WILL be charged tax. The deal from overstock is still good, $362 shipped and while it is "refurbed" mine came good as new with the same warranty as a new unit and no rebate to hassle with. Basically you can get a refurb for $360 or a new one for $410

By the way...Sony has FLOODED the market with these refurbs. I suspect many are "b" stock that they are liquidating, prehaps because a replacement unit is on the way. B stock in this case mean units that were never actually bought by an end consumer, just consignment returns, etc. There is some tax relief for repacking them and selling them as refurbs...

I asked amazon about returns of opened items. Here's what they said. I hope they don't mean it. I guess it means that I'm not opening my replacement until I get a refund on the old one.
