NOTE, i have posted this list on another thread on 1src, but decided to start a new thread for more awareness and better management. I'm gonna split it up into 2 posts so it'll hopefully be easier to manage and read.

Freeware games I can think of. Find 'em using google (using search phrases like “freewarepalm” + <name of game> or “palm” + <name of game>) or sites like www.freewarepalm.com, www.palmGamingWorld.com, and www.palmGear.com.

Exodus? push boxes around while avoiding obstacles. Color and grayscale. Sequel has more levels but is shareware. #3 is in hi-res but only for Clie’s
Vexed** CLASSIC & SUPERB
3L TTT 3 level tic tac toe

Matching Hearts this is actually a free shareware game. You’re required to register to get full function game, but they’ll give you a free registration if you email them. Haven’t done that yet. Also, can’t seem to get out of demo mode despite going through the options.

Traffic* rearrange blocks to clear path type game. Now in color

vavilon2? some strategy game with some RPG elements. As the 7.5MB .PRC file suggests, you’ll need quite some system resources to run this game

Lights Out* logic, board game
eggyland* solve puzzles by block pushing and enemy avoiding, to advance levels . v0.51 has color
dope wars? based on Drug Wars
Quads and Quasars* based on an old board game, the objective is to form a square of any size/orientation
Iron Strategy* turn based game like chess or Advanced Wars
Robot Attack~ looks like an interesting game, but unfortunately, I get an error message upon trying to run the game, followed by a forced soft reset
Ackwire? i hear it's good. board game, create buildings, etc., kinda like simcity

hangman Classic word game. requires a .pdb file to be installed in RAM. Use powerRun to overcome that.

Crazy Office hi-res game, but really just a graphically simple game similar to the olden Nintendo Game and Watch pocket LCD games like Donkey Kong Jr.

Chaser* hi-res game. Explore, collect all gems, and make it to the exit while avoiding obstacles. 25 levels
Chaser Dig* As described, like above, but more levels, ability to dig, and fog of war. Ability to jump to any of its 80 levels is a nice touch.

JumpMan** classic from old school vid gaming
Mulg** clone of Marble Madness, but overhead view instead of isometric view
PalmSiege* another old schooler. would'v been nice if hiscores were retained
Argon V 2d overhead view shooter
Alien Terrain
SuperNova same here
WV Eggs? hatch and kill chickens with a throwing hammer
Rats and Spears hi-res, colorful game with fluid controls and animation. This game didn’t work on my z71 because it requires A LOT (as much as you have) of free internal RAM and dynamic heap memory which only my T3 has. Let me know if you get this works on any other handheld

tintama** from same dev as next game, shot lasers from below to manipulate an oversized, Picachu looking ball to the target areas. While RocketCHU was hard, it would’ve been nice if this game had a difficulty setting and other options. Got through both in the end though.

Sea Wars MP another battleship clone. Overhead view with nicer looking graphics. “MP” stands for multiplayer so the same Palm handheld, IR, or BT are available in that regard. Game will crash on my T3 when sound is enabled
mars dodge and destroy obstacle course type game that keeps going on and on.

presents similar to palmsiege in concept
snow baller shooter game like Operation Wolf, but much more simplistic

Nike Shade Runningkinda boring yet interesting at the same time

grunion~ The zip file is named bol.zip, but the PRC file and name in the Launcher screen are named grunion.prc. For both my z71, T3, and on a LifeDrive, the color mode just produces a blank screen. Sound is still there. I hear changes as I tap the screen to manipulate the environment and hear enemy movement, so the game is definitely underway, but I can’t see anything. There’s also a monochrome mode, but unfortunately, that’s UGLY as heck. I guess it would’ve been much better if a grayscale mode was implemented like all of N.I.’s other games, but this one’s the exception. Hopefully the dev is aware of this and will update with a fix.

aala* seems to have some level bugs here and there, but quite intense and variety
The Prison* breakaway and escape all your balls to the top of the screen
Ladrion break all the blocks. Plenty of items and block types to keep the game spiced up. In hi-res color too.

PC PORTS
NOTES: These are noncommercial/non-retail ports of PC games. As instructed by the devs working on these projects, you will need to find the original PC files associated with these games loaded preferably onto a large SD card. You may also need UDMH (Unlimited Dynamic Memory Hack), a shareware app with a trial period for lesser handhelds to allow more RAM usage to run these games. You’ll also need to find the original audio files for music/sound FX. Finally average case scenario is it or part of the port (like sound or video) doesn’t work. Good case scenario is it works fine. Worst case scenario is it may force a hard reset, so backup your handheld and use at your own risk.
Flashback (The Quest for Identity) - According to the dev, this is nearly complete. Still needs optimizations and bug squashing.

zDoom - Many T3 users had problems getting this to work correctly. It seems the v1.2 over v1.1 works better. T3 users should also check out this site
