You should be testing the newer versions for compatibility, not the older ones.
:-)
I agree, but since someone took the time to test it, I feel obliged to post it. When someone takes the time to test newer versions, I will update the list accordingly. In addition, some upgrades cost money, so there may be some users not willing to pay more money for features they do not need.

In the future, I will try to weed out the older software where updates to the latest version are free.

Thanks,
Lance

LightWav version 3.0 # 2004.082 Medium

Works great so far with Pocket Tunes 3.0.5 to provide Mp3 alarms.

iSilo 3.xx to version 4.xx is not free but discounted as most software companies do. Version updates between 4.x versions are free so far...

MMPlayer 0.2.13 - The bookmark feature does not work for videos on an external card. It works on the internal card. This means you have no way to continue where you left off. I'm guessing this is caused by having two cards (one internal) in the T5 and the software doesn't handle it.

BBVFS v3.03 does not work on the T5. Same error as previous version.

Gekko? I thought you returned your T5? Do you still have it?

uh....I did test some apps during the 48 hours I had it.

MyBible 3.0 works fine and also Mapoplois.

MetrO 5.1.2 works well on T5.
HanDBase 3.0i2 works well.
HighWire Viewer 2.0.5 works well.
KidoMeter 4.2 works well.
Skyscape works well.
ICUmath works well.

Cheers.

I apologize for not posting replies to point out the various updates that I have made over the past few days. I have added every title that has been suggested, in addition my own.

I would like to point out the DataViz has a patch for Beyond Contacts that provides compatibility with the T5. See list for link (i.e. first post of this thread).

Thanks,
Lance

Handstory & Thought Manager

Thanks Lance for the hard work providing the info for all those people seriously considering the T5. Really appreciate it!

I would like to know if anyone knows if Handstory 2.3 and Thought Manager works on the T5? I consider these two apps important in my daily use, really appreciate it if anyone can confirm about this. Thanks again.

In regards to the T3 files AppSlipRotate.PRC and StatusBarLib.PRC, I discovered that one program I installed on my T5 loaded these files, and after a hard reset (required by the T5 Updater), these files were then HotSynced back into the T5, causing the virtual graffiti area to vanish as well as the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. It took me a while to determine that one or both of those files were to blame. I'm not sure which app installed those two. I found these two in the hotsync backup folder, deleted them, and everything is back to normal. You might want to check your backup folder to see if these are lurking in it.

Regards....

I installed the Lexi-Comp reader v 2.2.041008 from Lexi-Comp, Inc., which is the reader for the Lexidrugs database at http://www.lexi.com.

After a medium amount of testing of the reader with the drug database, it appears to work well with the T5.

That's good news. I'll be testing PEPID and Sanford Guide soon. Use those 3 daily.

These work (with limitiations)

I've tested the following, and they work. I hope there's no duplication...

Software name, version, (Confidence). Comments. Web page.

LifeBalance, 3.2.5, (Need) Will NOT work. Crashes requiring reset. Llamagraphics have a patch available by email (see below).
http://www.llamagraphics.com/LB/LifeBalanceTop.html

LifeBalance, 3.2.61d, (Medium). Version sent from Llamagraphics (they will email to any who request it), but is still a beta of their next release. No obvious bugs, but sometimes very slow because of the "debug processes" (something the good folk at Llamagrahics bring to your attention when they send it).
http://www.llamagraphics.com/support/email.html

Splash Shopper, 2.6a, (Low-Medium). It works fine, but not all screens display 320x480. Lists will, but edits won't.

Splash Money, 3.02, (Low-Medium). It works fine, but not all screens display 320x480. Lists will, but edits won't.

Splash ID, 3.12, (Medium). Seems to work fine except for opening password screen which will only operate 320x320.

Cheers,
Tim
