What I want to know is why there is no forum for the original Pilot - you know, the Pilot 1000 and Pilot 5000.

As far as your poll - nope. I no longer have mine. Dummy me - I gave them away.

i would like to hold an original palm pilot, i've never even seen one

I just remembered...

Back in the day (6th grade :p) when I got my first Visor (2MB), everyone started copying me. During the next few weeks, you saw kids bringing in their dad's old 5000 and other older models like that...it was funny :D. Yet, I used my Visor for PIM AND games, and they used their 5000's for games...

Now, as a Freshman, I bring in my NR70, and people pop out their cell phones to try to "impress" me :p. But, I beat them once again w/ my 3650 :D. (and that would be why I'm getting the T|T3)

I'd probably use it if I ever owned one. I mean, you can still grab software for it online and I believe there was a 2MB upgrade.

I still have my PalmPilot, but I don't use it. Who knows? It might be worth some money. When the Smithsonian comes calling, I'll be ready! :-D

Oh well, I guess I'll have to make my millions elsewhere. :)

I didn't see the HP OmniGo 100 in that article's photo!

I've still got mine (in mothballs). I think it may have been the first PDA to come in a clamshell and tablet form factor.

Can't quite remember what I did to my old PalmPilot. I guess I sold it to a friend... I moved on very quickly after the Visor came out... Won a SONY Clie so got rid of the Visor and now I ordered me a Tungsten T3... all within 5 years... and still, I don't do much more with my Clie than I did with my Palmpilot: PIM, Games, News.

mine got stolen two and half years ago (it was in the sports bag), and after a year of euhm'ing and ah'ing, i got myself a t665c and now a zire71 while i wait for something that fits my needs.. what a jump i tell you !

i still remember it with fondness...

My best friend, who uses a Clie N760C, has one lying around... He doesn't have the sync software for it, but his sister apparently uses it for PIM stuff.
