e book recommendation?

Hello once again clie guru's
I am currently ( still a newbie) trying to get an e book application to work on my nx70.
Ideally i would like to find one which;
a. works
b. lets me find and read a document other than it's own instruction manual
c. utilises the full screen size , some i've tried have not done so
d. has access to a decent range of books
e. some of which might even be free!

What would you folks recommend?
Thanks
Dara

Have you tried Palm Reader? There is an extensive collection of free and commercial books in Palm Reader format. Here is the link to the reader and the book store. Find the reader on the left-hand side of site.

http://www.palmdigitalmedia.com/

The reader is free. There is a commercial version, which has a built-in dictionary.

You may find helpful info in this thread.

If you have any questions about what you find, please feel free to ask. I'm sure somebody here will be able to help!

And WELCOME!

You can convert any html-based or txt-based ebook to iSilo (non-free) or Plucker (free) format. You can get Plucker from www.plkr.org . If you get the "snapshot" version, you'll get dictionary support (via RoadLingua: www.absoluteword.com). Many people prefer to convert html to Plucker using jPluck (jpluck.sf.net).

Mobipocket Reader

Get the mobipocket reader for free from their site. They have a number of free books. You can change the color of the background and or text whenever you want. Also, it supports hi-res+.

Personally, I like to support the ebook sites because I really enjoy reading on my clie. Most books are not that expensive. If you discipline yourself to buy ebooks only when you finish what you already have, then the price is very affordable.

Currently, I'm reading Prey by Michael Crichton. It's really good and it cost only around $6.00. I used a coupon that I got from one of the ebook sites.

tealdoc for me

I love tealdoc. It allows you to use the full screen, rotate the text, control font size, auto scroll and control scrolling with a screen tap, the jog dial, or the up/down buttons. Well worth the $.

Mobipocket Reader

I really love this app.
I'm currently reading the full Star Trek series.
