ZLauncher -user manual I have recently downloaded ZLauncher to my pc, before synching and installing on my SJ22. However, I am unable to open the User Manual that came in the download – each time I try, I get a “This page is not available” message. Just before it opens as the “This page is not available” message, I can very briefly see a message to open the “indexen.htm” file that is supposed to be in the Help directory. It wasn't in the Help directory - there was no Help directory, but there was a "indexen.htm" file. When I open that, I do get the User Manual, but all of the images are absent – only the ubiquitous red “x” in a box within the box of the image. I can’t get the image or any of the images to open. I’m at work, using IE 5.5 but haven’t blocked the showing of images…. Needless to say, this will prevent me from seeing whatever it is the developers are attempting to illustrate and will prevent me from using the launcher. Can anyone help me with what step I need to take next? Or can you point me to an online source for the user manual? Or send me a copy that you can open? Thanks, cactus. |
have you extracted all the images that came with the zip? |
I wonder the same thing.... are you trying to launch the tutorial..... from the .zip file itself? You need to open your windows explorer (File manager) ... and locate where you 'unzipped' all the files to. Then locate the document and double-click on it. That way you are 'using the right path'. You should also be able to open it up ... using IE ... and opening the page by searching for it on your HD. |

oups, doesn't work |
After unzipping, I simply double-clicked on manual.htm in the root directory and it auto-loaded the English manual. Alternatively, go into the Help subdirectory and double-click on the indexen.htm file. Good luck! |
Well, my problem was not unzipping everything - now that's okay, but I find myself unable to use ZLauncher, because it says there is "no available theme for this device." Yet I have installed AquawoodXP_Hi_64K.prc on my memory stick - at least, that's what my hotsync log tells me. According to the log it's also on the handheld itself - which I did first, but ZLauncher gave me the "no available theme" error message. Thinking that it needed to be on the MS, I then installed on the MS]. What should I try now? TIA |
Here's some info that may help (or not) using "clie files" I have the following files loaded on my NX70V. ZL_CardCategory ZL_CardProgram ZL_CategoryOrder ZL_DeletedListDB ZL_FavoriteListD ZL_FileCacheDB00 ZLauncher ZLauncherDB ZLI_PalmOS5_Son ZLT_AquawoodXP ZreaderLite Please understand that the file names are longer, I'm just giving you enough to help sort it out. I have all of these files backed up to the MS on my device and I am running ZL Manager from the MS with no problems, but I believe the ZLauncher files are running from internal memory. One of the files you should double check is that you have the OS5 version for Sony and not another version. |
Simple enough. Just go to the venders site and download the manual. When you unZip, select the EN (English) version unless you like squiggly characters, hehehe. http://www.zztechs.com/product.php?prod=ZLauncher |
